Chapter 6: ClickBank Setup

Activ E-Book Compiler & ClickBank - How To Sell E-Book Passwords
Chapter 6: ClickBank Setup

In this chapter you will set up your ClickBank account to be ready for processing orders.

NOTE: ClickBank may change their procedures from time-to-time. We do not have control over their procedures, so this is a general guide based on our experience. Please check their site for current information.

If you have One Password
  1. Log in to your ClickBank account.

  2. Set your ClickBank "Home Page" to your Information Page that you created in Chapter 5.

  3. Set your "Sales Page" to the Sales page that you created in Chapter 4.

  4. Set your ClickBank "Thank You Page" to the Thank You page that you created in Chapter 3. If you used a hard-to-guess URL for your Thank You page you may find it easier to cut-and-paste the URL rather than retype it.

  5. Make sure the price of the Product is set to $0.00

  6. Log out of ClickBank.
Test your sales links according to ClickBank's guidelines (they have a procedure on their site for testing a link priced at $0.00). Also double check that both your Sales and Thank You pages comply with ClickBank's guidelines.

When you are happy that everything has been set up correctly and is working correctly:
  1. If you have never sold anything through ClickBank before you will need to request a "price limit increase" before you can set the real pricing up - ClickBank lists the information you must provide to get this increase. If you need to do this, e-mail them all the required information and await a response before proceeding (it usually a couple of business days).

  2. Once your price limit has been increased (or if you already have the increase in place from a previous product you've been selling), you may log in to ClickBank and raise your product price from $0.00 to the real value.

If you have Multiple Passwords
  1. Log in to your ClickBank account.

  2. Set your ClickBank "Home Page" to your Information Page that you created in Chapter 5.

  3. Set your "Sales Page" to the first Sales page that you created in Chapter 4.

  4. Set your ClickBank "Thank You Page" for the first product, to the Thank You page for password #1.

Set your ClickBank "Thank You Page" for the second product, to the Thank You page for password #2.

Repeat this for each of the Passwords and Thank You page combinations that you created in Chapter 3. If you used a hard-to-guess URLs for your Thank You pages you may find it easier to cut-and-paste the URLs rather than retyping them.

  5. Make sure the price of each Product is set to $0.00

  6. Log out of ClickBank.
Test every single one of your sales links according to ClickBank's guidelines (they have a procedure on their site for testing a link priced at $0.00).

Check very carefully that each Sales page contains the correct ClickBank "sales link", and that each of these goes to the correct corresponding Thank You page.

Double check that both your Sales and Thank You pages comply with ClickBank's guidelines.

When you are happy that everything has been set up correctly and is working correctly:
  1. If you have never sold anything through ClickBank before you will need to request a "price limit increase" before you can set up the real pricing. 2. Once your price limit has been increased (or if you already have the increase in place from a previous product you've been selling), you may log in to ClickBank and raise your product price from $0.00 to the real value. Don't forget to do this for every one of your links for sale.
