Making Your E-Books Available for Immediate Download To make your E-Book available for download you need to upload your E-Book's EXE output file (if you're using a compiler like Activ E-Book Compiler), or E-Book's PDF (if you're using Adobe Acrobat) to your web space. You will need to either use an FTP program, or use the your web site's web-based control panel. The 2 most popular FTP programs are WS_FTP and CuteFTP and you can download them both from zdnet. Enter the name of the program in the search form at this URL: http://www.zdnet.com/downloads/ Or go directly:
Paths & URLs Say the EXE file is C:\FirstSet\MyFirstBook.exe. Say your web site is http://www.yoursite.com/. You might upload this to a subdirectory on your web site. For example if you uploaded to the ebook subdirectory, the URL of the download would be http://www.yoursite.com/ebook/MyFirstBook.exe.
